What do I do?

Today, for me, is a CRAZY day. I begin by waking up at 5:30 and leave the house by 7 to head out to snow canyon. From 7:30-2:15 I will observing a 7th grade English class at Lave Ridge Intermediate School. So far, this has been such a fun experience. Unfortunately, it is 10 o'clock and I have already written my observation report. Thus, the busy work I have been doing while the kids take notes, is now gone.

In first period, the kids were a little hectic but other than that it went well. In second period, a very happy and outgoing girl named Gabby approaches me and asks for my help with her group project. This was SO fun. I got to get really close and personal with the kids and it was an exciting thing. I FELT JUST LIKE A TEACHER. As I learned all the names of the kids, I realized how hard it must be to get really personal with these kids. I can barely remember 5 of the kids from 2nd period. Let alone all of the classes I have been observing! As Gabby leaves for her next class she asks my name one more time. I then see her writing on the board MALLORY IS THE VISITOR FROM DIXIE STATE. I kind of love kids.

It is now third period and Mr. Ryan Rarick (the teacher I am observing) is explain simple, complex and compound sentences. The more time I spend in this class the more I am confused with which grade and subject I want to teach. I LOVE WRITING AND READING. This is what made me think I would want to go into teaching an intermediate level of English. But as I am observing the different classroom management techniques and strategies the teacher is using, it is making me want to teach elementary school! It would be so fun to be with those cute kids all day, and hearing the funny things they say. I'll post more later as the day goes on. Wish me luck!

(LOL. The kid sitting a little ways from me is flipping his head rapidly back and forth to stay awake then eventually just hits his head down on his desk letting out a little "ouch.")

Do you ever have those days, where you are just in a great mood and it seems like nothing can go wrong? Ya, story of my life (:
So i finally got a backpack! and i love it so much (: its turquoise and jansport. i love it to death (: mostly becuz its turquoise (: i just love that color.
Alrighty, so i am kind of a little excited for school to start. But mostly becuz i really wanna buy some new school clothes and folders and locker accesories and everything else. (: I'm really excited to see what electives i end with too! I really hope i get social dance, auto-shop, spanish, and graphics.
I'm also really excited to go to idaho soon!! We haven't tooken really any vacations this summer, so i am really excited to get out of this town! (No offense, i love you guys) Its gonna be fun tho, becuz i can wear pants without sweating to death (: Plus, i get to see my awesome cousins! The only sad thing is, my really legit cousin Chayden is leaving on his mission! But we're excited cuz we're going to write him. which is like a first for us! So it should be fun.
I love how this blog is more like my journal becuz there really is like no one who reads it. Its great stuff man. Great stuff.

Exciting News:

I'm getting my hair done on wednesday (TOMORROW)! :D I'm super excited. I'm just lifting up my color to more of a blonde. Right now it is strawberry. Here is a picture..

I am obviously the one on the left. So ya.. I'm hoping that it looks like this by the time I'm done.. I'm even thinking of doing this cut.

The only thing is her bangs are super long and my hair isn't that long. So I don't know yet. All I know is I'm excited.

I'm also excited for school shopping!!

i never realized how beautiful the sunrise could be until i actually took the time to watch it.

at the peak of the rise, when the sun is starting to show, the clouds by the sun are golden but up int the sky they are rosey pink against the light blue sky. at the horizon the color is gold against the dark charcoal mountains. it then fades to a green and up to the blue sky. it is so pretty! made my day!

okay, so last night me and kinzie thought it would be a great idea to just not go to sleep becuz we're getting up at one thirty for thanksgiving sales anyways...we lasted til midnighted. so we wake up and 1:30 and are like ready to get up, and then all of the sudden we look at the clock and its 3:50!!! So we were sad that we didnt get to go and then we heard someone downstairs, and my mom hadnt left yet! so we ended up going! we got some pretty good deals. and it was super crazy but way fun! we were shopping for eight hours tho, but it went fast. :)

k, so i started reading this article and i havent finished it yet but its so good and interesting so far! check it out, click here. Its so fasinating.

Hot Rod: This is the best show EVER! I could watch it a million times over and over and I would still dye laughing when Rod hits the motor home. :)

Adam: So basically, movies dont get much better than this. This movie made me laugh it made me cry and i wanted to see it over and over again. Very inspiring.

7 Pounds: Okay. So this is show was incredible. Starring Will Smith, it was amazing start to finish. I cried so hard! But it made me realize the important things in life.

BOOKS

The Midnighters Series: Okay, so these books are extraordinary! They are so well written and so desriptive! You feel like you are right there! The plot is also very invigorating. I could read those books again and again and again. :)

Twilight: Alright. I pretty much threw this in for all the twilight haters. :) But my favorite book out of the saga would have to be New Moon. :D

Hey! Sorry I haven't posted for a while...idk...I guess I just haven't had much to say...BUT I DO NOW!!! I am so excited for SUMMER!!! Yet I am also not looking forward to it...allow me to explain...

I am so excited for summer because.....NO SCHOOL!!! A great period of time where you wake up swim...tan...and then go to sleep. Pretty much heaven on earth right?

I am not excited for summer because.....that is a whole lotta time away from your friends!!! Also, I am going to be stuck in a house with five more sisters who all want there way and only one will get it...hm.....

Well...lets be OPTIMISTIC!!! Summer is fun! Heat, water, waterMELON, cherries, boating, sleeping, WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR!!!

Okay...so its spring break and there is actually a lot of stuff happening! Something fun i have done this spring break is yesterday i went on a hike with my YW group. (GO ELEVENTH WARD!) and it was totally fun. we went up to red cliffs and hiked and swam and stuff...it was fun! The picture on the right is of the lovely Nicole Houghton(in the green) jumping off one of the cliffs into the murky water below! On the left is to oh so adventurous Courtni Giles (in the black) jumping into the open waters! This was so fun and i had a great time! Next topic, BOOKS! I was so pleased to here that one of my favorite series was releasing a new book! What made me mad is that at Barnes and Noble it was sold out. The book is called Hunted by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast. The books in the series before have been very good so I'm excited for this one. A book i am reading right now is the fifth book in a series i also enjoy. This is the Morganville Vampire series. The book im reading is called Lord of Misrule. Its good so far but something i always struggle with is i will read two series off and on and then reading the sequels and such can get very confusing. :/ Last but not least...TWILIGHT! I am very thrilled that the movie Twilight is coming out this friday at 12:01 AM. I am very, very anxious to watch this movie. I also found the song So Close for my Blog playlist!!! But, in honor of the Twilight movie coming out i am playing songs from that. :)

Twilight Movie

Okay...so i just got back from the twilight movie and i have to say that it was amazing. Yeah...i know thats what EVERYONE is saying but i loved it so much. I loved all the actors and actresses and think they did an awesome job. Edward and Bella...adorable!! My favorite i have to say was Alice. Ashley Greene did an outstanding job playing her and her personality was so fun. Here is the oh so awesome Cullen Table. Sorry about the size but i would try to make it big and it would be huge...and now it is insanely small...sry still new to this. :)

This picture is from the baseball scene in the movie. (personally my favorite scene.) I also thought in this scene everyone looked the best. (finally got it to a reasonable size.)

I recommend this movie very much so and hope you enjoy it. :D
